The day started at Home Depot. Rented this bad boy and pulled up to the Sod hut to pick up my 55 rolls. The stuff was so heavy that they couldn’t fit the entire palette on the truck without setting off the payload alarm.

Dropped off all the sod. Carrying all the stuff from the front yard to the back yard was quite a task. Each one weighs about 50 lbs and my arms are still sore today from all that carrying. A wheelbarrow probably would have been good…but what do I know, I’m just a computer tech not a lawn technician. lol
(BTW…the picture above was taken with a Palm Pre my wife brought home for me to check out. Pretty damn good quality)
FINISHED!!

So here is the result of hard working all day. I’m putting in a walkway type area (seen in the lower right corner of the 2nd pic) and there’s going to be mulch all around the yard. I’m thinking of putting some long plants in the corner, but the hardest part is done and now we can actually hang out in the back yard. Feels like I accomplished a lot this weekend!
A thousand and one thank yous to my best good friend Esco! I could not have done this wihout you being there every step of the way. I appreciate your help a ton. Thank you Uncle Eddie!
Thanks also go to my son Rico. You helped out a whole lot and I appreciate you for being there. Maybe I'll let you drive the Si around the 'hood. :) Thank you son!
